Ellen M. Nardi Age 78 Iron River, MI Died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at her home. Born: April 19, 1932 in Crystal Falls, MI The daughter of the late Jacob and Mayme (Saario) Lamminen attended the Crystal Falls Schools, graduating with the Class of 1951. She was employed as a secretary for M. A. Hanna Mining Company and later retired from the U.S. Government. Ellen married Reno Nardi in Caspian, where the couple made their home. Reno preceded her in death in 1975. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Iron River and the American Legion Reino Post #21 Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her dog Maggie. She always had a smile and was willing to help those in need. She is survived by her son, Steven Nardi of Caspian, MI Daughter, Lori (James) Curtis of Marquette, MI Brother, Jack (Mary) Lamminen of Kenosha, WI Two grandchildren; Eric (Angela) and Jamie Curtis Four great grandchildren; Taylor, Ethan and Cameron Curtis Keira Lindberg Extended family; Robert and Sherry Johnson and their children, Eric and Megan Sue and Jerry Blevins Special friend, Germaine Pellizer Companion, her dog Maggie Nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law She was also preceded in death by her son Thomas, daughter, Lynn Marie, special friend, Bob Marquette, two brothers, Ron and Leroy, and sisters, Vi, Lil and Gert. Visitation: Friday, June 11, 2010 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev.
