Mr. James Talerico, age 82, Iron River, MI died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain, MI. Born: May 30, 1925 in Caspian, MI The son of the late James and Francesca (Caravita) Talerico attended the Stambaugh schools, graduating with the Class of 1943. He was employed by the Conoco Oil Company for 32 years, retiring in 1985. James married the former Beverly Thomas October 2, 1953 in Watersmeet, MI and the couple made their home in Iron River. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this year. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River. His life centered around his family and grandchildren, and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. James was also preceded in death by two brothers; Pat and Dominic, and five sisters; Pancrazia Cirello, Rose Meneguzzo, Jenny Pauluzzi. Carmella Wills, and Irene Maki. He is survived by his wife Beverly Two sons; Damon (Terri) Talerico of Sussex, WI Dario (Pamela) Talerico of Kiel, WI Four grandchildren; Tony Talerico Jennifer Meiselwitz Nick Talerico Dylan Talerico Special cousin, Mary Johns Numerous nieces and nephews Visitation: Friday, December 21, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. A Liturgical Prayer Service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service: Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church , Iron River with the Rev. Norman Clisch, pastor, to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Pallbearers:George Stockero Sr., George Stockero Jr., Geoff Stockero, Zak Stockero, Dave Pellizzer, Jim Talerico.
