Margaret M. Mastie, age 84, Iron River, MI died Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, MI. Born February 5, 1923 in Iron River The daughter of the late Vincent and Lena (Bond) Fiorani attended the Iron River schools and was a lifelong resident of the area. Margaret married John Mastie in 1949 at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River; he preceded her in death on July 9, 2007. Margaret was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. She enjoyed embroidery and cooking. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Ciro, and four sisters, Mabel Tarsi, Elizabeth Parloto, Amida Selmo, and Dolores Masnova. She is survived by one son, Michael (Kim) Mastie of Iron River One daughter, Kathleen (Ron) Ansley of Albuquerque, NM Two sisters, Ruth Fiorani of Iron River Lorraine Maroney of Venna, VA Five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren Nieces and nephews Private Family Services will be held.
