Florence M. Finnegan, age 99 of Iron River, MI, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the Northstar Health System, Iron River. Born: January 29, 1910 in Felch, MI The daughter of the late John and Caroline (Larsen) Olson attended the Gaastra and Stambaugh schools. Florence married Charles Finnegan and the couple made their home in Gaastra and Stambaugh. Charles preceded her in death in 1964. She was employed as a sales clerk for many years. Florence was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church of Iron River and the United Methodist Women. She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Ollie, Arthur, Alfred, Gilbert , and Rudolph, and sisters; Emma Peterson and Esther Hawke. She is survived by her son, Lowell C. (Kay) Finnegan of Lapeer, MI Daughter, Jeanne Cameron of Iron River Six grandchildren; Scott (Betty) Finnegan, Wendy Hagemeister, Brian Finnegan, Lorrie (Pekka) Ignatius, Bonnie Cameron and Robert Cameron III Six great grandchildren; Jessica, Linnea, and Nora Ignatius, Zachary (Darci) Hagemeister, Luke Hagemeister, and Brandy (Jeremy) Mosher Three great, great grandchildren; Jacob and Gabriel Mosher and Brezlyn Hagemeister Visitation: Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Iron River. Funeral Services: Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church of Iron River with Rev. Mark Ryan to officiate.
