Died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at NorthStar Health System, Iron River.
Born February 28, 1935 in Gaasta, MI
The son of the late Merico and Fay (Mandolini) Gasperini attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Following his honorable discharge, he went to Chicago, Il, where he worked for Sara Lee Research and Development for many years.
He married the former Joyce Fox on July 4, 1959 in Waukeegan, IL. The couple returned to the Iron River area in 1992. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this year.
He was preceded in death by his son, Frank Gasperini and sister Corrine Dzarnowski.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce

Edward (Marie) Gasperini of Iron River
Larry (Corrinea) Gasperini of Iron River
Two daughters, Tina (Todd) Voss of Iron River
Danine (Alan) Smith of Brista, OK
16 grandchildren

Visitation: Friday, November 11, 2011 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River.
Funeral Service: Friday, November 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to officiate.
Interment: Green Acres Cemetery, Bloomington, CA
