Died Friday, December 23, 2011 at his home.

Born: October 5, 1954 in Crystal Falls, MI

The son of Robert "Red" and Barbara (Goodhall - Maki) Grant attended the West Iron County Schools.  He was employed in the pipeline industry for many years.

Edward married the former Loretta Smith on January 17, 2009 in Tipler, WI, and the couple made their home in Phelps.  They celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary this year.

He was a member of the American Legion Reino Post #21 of Iron River.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  He was beloved by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 12:00 noon at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev. Sandra Froland to officiate.  The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at the service.
