Goldine V. Baumgartner                      Age 93                         Iron River, MI

Passed away January 2, 2012 at her home.

Born:  January 10, 1918, Stambaugh Township

The daughter of the late Godfrey and Clara (Ende) Anderson was a life long resident of the area.  She attended the Pioneer and Stambaugh Schools. 

On June 18, 1938, Goldine married Leo Baumgartner at the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River.  They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in 1999.  Leo preceded her in death on November 6, 1999. 

Goldine was employed by the Balducci Supper Club for many years.  She was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, St. Ann's Society and the Daughters of Isabella.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting, and sewing for her grandchildren.  She loved to be outdoors, spending time with her flowers and fishing. 

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roy Anderson and sister Beatrice Rivard.

She is survived by two sons, Jerome (Theresa) Baumgartner, Iron River

Visitation: Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, MI.

Funeral Services: Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Caspian, with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.  The ladies of St. Ann's Society will form an Honor Guard at the service.

Interment:  Stambaugh Cemetery, Iron River
