Passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Northstar Health Systems, Iron River.

Born: April 9, 1932 in Bates, MI

The daughter of the late Herman and Harriet (Clements) Norkoli attended the Stambaugh School, graduating with the Class of 1950.

Audrey married Martin Bemis on August 11, 1951 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Gaastra and the couple made their home in the Green Bay area for 30 years.  Following retirement, the couple moved to Bates Township to make their home.  They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2011.

Audrey enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Bemis

She is survived by her husband, Martin

                                One brother, Ben (Sharon) Norkoli of Crystal Falls
                                Three sisters, Elaine Clemo of Iron River
                                                 Betty Jean King of Monroe, WA
                                                 Lilias Pakula of Green Bay, WI
                                Five grandchildren
                                Seven great grandchildren
                                Nieces, nephews and extended family
