Evelyn I. Anderson                                             Age 92                                     Iron River, MI

Died January 28^th, 2012 with her family by her side.

Born Evelyn Irene Gentilini on May 21, 1919.  Daughter of the late Libra (Melchiori) and Charles Gentilini attended the Stambaugh School.

She married Vincent Anderson on January 9^th, 1942 and they made their home in Iron River.  They celebrated their 50^th anniversary in 1992.  Vincent preceded her in death on August 4^th, 1997. 

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Agnes, Maggie, and Amelia, and her brothers, John, Jose, Bruno, and Peter.

Evelyn loved sewing, crocheting, making crafts, and having coffee with her good friends and neighbors.

She especially enjoyed spending time at the cottage sitting by the fire and going for pontoon rides with a special nephew Brian (Wanda) Schwartz.

She will be sadly missed, but she left wonderful memories.

She is survived by her children, Don (Rosemary) Anderson of Stillwater, MN, Carol Barinotti of Iron River, Nancy (Greg) Bachmann of Milwaukee, WI, son-in-law, Larry (Bonnie) Barinotti of Iron River, four grandchildren, Dr. Mark (Melissa) Barinotti of Escanaba, MI, Lisa (Dan) Barinotti of Green Bay, WI, Erica (Andy) Bachmann of Dallas, TX, Ryan (Erika) Bachmann of Hales Corners, WI, five great grandchildren, Ciara and Gavin Barinotti, and Hunter, Hailey, and Hanna Bachmann, dear friend, Darlene Powell, wonderful neighbor, Carolyn, special caregiver, Patti and special nieces, Marcella and Shirley, and numerous other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.
