Mrs. Eva M. Scalcucci Age 91 Iron River, MI
Passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Northstar Health System.
Born: November 14, 1920 in Iron River, MI
She was the daughter of the late Medoro & Velema (Branchini) Dati and attended the Iron River Schools. In 1947, she married Fletcher Fregetto and the couple lived in Escanaba, MI and Milwaukee, WI and Fletcher died in 1974. She married Roland "Rito" Scalcucci in 1980 in Iron River where the couple then made their home. She was employed as a Customer Service Representative at Angeli Foods.
She was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the Italian Ladies. Eva was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and making Christmas tree skirts for her family.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Vedio Dati and two sisters, Genena Anderson and Asfalda Kososki.
Survived by her husband, Roland "Rito"

Funeral Service: Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River, with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment: Stambaugh Cemetery, Iron River, MI

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of Eva. I had an opportunity to get to know her at the Care Center where I did her nails for her a few times. I always enjoyed visiting with Eva and Rito. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
