Linda R. Hillabrant                                  Age 70                         Iron River, MI

Passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility.

Born November 24, 1941 in Battle Creek, MI

She was the daughter of the late E. Lear and Ruth V. (Meyers) Kaye.  Linda graduated from Marshall High School in 1959.  She married Robert Hillabrant on October 7, 1961 at the First Presbyterian Church in Marshall, MI.  The couple celebrated their 50^th wedding anniversary in 2011.

The couple moved to Iron River in 1969 and made their home here.  Linda worked as the secretary for the Hillabrant Agency and Waterfront Products Co. Inc. with her husband as owners and operators. 

Linda was a member of the Grace Covenant Church in Iron River.  She was active in the church serving as Board Secretary for several years and singing in the choir for nearly 40 years.  Linda also taught an adult Sunday school class for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald L. Kaye.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Hillabrant, Iron River

                                    Several cousins, nieces, and nephews

Visitation: Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Grace Covenant Church, Iron River.

Funeral Service: Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the Grace Covenant Church with the Rev. James Swanson II to officiate.
