Lawrence “Larry” B. Prott                 Age 65                         Caspian, MI

Passed away July 2, 2012.

Born November 23, 1946 in Racine, WI.

The son of Lois (Schoeppe) Prott and the late Clarence Prott attended the Racine Horlick High School.  Larry was U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.  He was employed by the City of Racine for many years and later by Asplundh Tree Expert Co. 

Larry was a recently baptized member of the First Baptist Church of which he had been lead to Christ by Pastor John Fish.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and prospecting for gold. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Prott.

He is survived by his mother, Lois Prott

Visitation: Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Iron River.

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Iron River with Pastor John Fish officiating. West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at the service.
