Agnes Tadey                            Age 92                                  Caspian, MI

Passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility.

Born: July 23, 1919 in Caspian, MI

The daughter of the late George and Anastasia (Kruzich) Polich attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating from Stambaugh High School with the Class of 1936.                                            

Agnes married Rudolph “Rudy” Tadey on June 3, 1939 in Caspian, and the couple made their home in Hillsdale, MI.  They later bought a dairy farm in Sturgeon Bay, WI, which they operated for 16 years.  Following their retirement, they returned to Caspian to make their home.

She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian.  She enjoyed knitting and playing cards.

She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Bors of Caspian

She was preceded in death by her husband Rudy, brothers, Emil, VJ, and Joe Polich, and sister, Violet Mascari.

Visitation: Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Otto Sartorelli Haal, St. Cecilia Catholic Church o Caspian.

Funeral Services: Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Caspia, with Rev. Gregory Veneklase, Pastor, to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment: Stambaugh Cemetery, Iron River
