#1 Donna Eeles Seamon 2012-07-24 15:16 My thoughts and prayers to the entire Rawnick Family. I'm thinking back to childhood days at Robinson Lake and the cabin with so many hand crafted furniture pieces done by grandpa and dad Rawnick. It was so homey and I always felt welcome there. He will be missed. Hugs to all of you. Quote

#2 Art Aregoni 2012-07-25 04:33 Our prayers go out to the family of Frank and may God bless his soul and rest in peace.
My memory of Frank is when he attempted to rescue our dog in our burning garage in 1963, when he worked across the alley at the Soc. Serv.office. He used some sort of cover to enter the burning garage, but to no avail, it was an inferno. Frank is a HERO not only for rescue attempt, but for serving in U.S. Navy during WWII.

#3 Pauly Strusz 2012-07-25 10:09 Prayers and Thoughts go out to the Rawnick Family in time of sorrow. I met Frank in the summer of 2006 when I knocked on his cabin door and introduced myself as "Pauly" his new nieghbor on Robinson Lake. Frank and Eve invited me into to their cabin for a glass of wine and we talked for about 45 minutes. Told them where I was from and was nice to meet such great people that would be our neighbors on Robinson Lake. Frank Rawnick will be truley missed on Robinson Lake but will be looking down from heaven upon us all. Over the past 6 yrs I feel blessed that I got to know this great man that was a great neighbor and became my friend!! Prayers and Thoughts to the family in your time of sorrow in the passing of Frank Rawnick a Family Man, A True American Hero and a Robinson Lake "ICON". God Bless… Quote

#4 AnnaMae Gugliotto 2012-07-26 17:32 I was so sorry to read today's Daily News and learned about Frank's passing. He was such a talented person, apparently following in his father's footsteps, creating so many beautiful hand crafted pieces. My last mailing to you, Eve, was returned because I apparently did not have the correct address. Our sympathy to you and your family. Much love, AnnaMae and "CheeChee" Quote
