Eugene H. Gollakner Age 75 Iron River, MI
Died February, 19, 2013 at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI.
He was born June 15, 1937, in Alpha, MI, the son of the late William and Jesse Gollakner. He attended the Caspian schools. Eugene was a self-employed carpenter for 60 years.
Eugene married the former Phyllis A. Koski on September 21, 1962 and the couple were lifelong residents of the area. They celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary in 2009. Phyllis preceded him in death on February 7, 2010.
He attended the First Baptist Church of Iron River. He enjoyed fishing, wood working and spending time with his family and his dog, Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and William and an infant sister.
He is survived by three daughters, Myra Castillo of Iron River, MI

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Iron River.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Rucinski to officiate.
Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery, Iron River, in the Spring.
Funeral arrangements by the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River.
