Adeline T. Westcott, age 95, of Iron River, MI, passed away March 12, 2014. She was born January 22, 1919 in Amasa, MI, the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Hill) Bicigo. She attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School with the Class of 1937. Adeline married George Westcott on November 15, 1938 in Iron River, and the couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in 1980. George preceded her in death in 1981. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Iron River. She volunteered at St Vincent De Paul, and enjoyed ceramics, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and fishing. She especially loved being with her family. Adeline is survived by her daughters Georgette (John) Cunningham and Carol (Glenn) Gustafson, both of Iron River; brothers Charles Hill of South Haven, MI, and Jerry Hill of Tennessee; sisters, Emma Johnson of Oklahoma, and Norma Johnson of Iron River; grandchildren, George, Kay, Laura Lee, Bobby-Ann, Randy, Jesse Jay, Amy Lee, Lance, and John George ; numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Earl and Dean Westcott; daughter, Geraldine Westcott; an infant brother, and brother Albert; sisters Marie Mulqueen and Betty Willison. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the First Ptesbyterian Church of Iron River. Memorial services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Dawn Treado Green to officiate.
