Allan R. Curtis

Allan R. Curtis, age 74, of Marquette, MI, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Norlite Nursing Center in Marquette, MI. He was born on January 24, 1949, in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late John M. and June (Shoquist) Curtis, Jr. He attended Special Education Classes, graduating in 1967. Allan was a member of Grace Covenant Church. He was a loyal Green Bay Packers fan. He loved horses. He was an excellent ice skater and also participated in the Special Olympics. He was employed at Pizza Hut for 17 years. Allan loved meeting and talking to people and always had a smile on his face! Allan is survived by his brother, James (Lori) Curtis of Marquette, MI; sister, Sandy (Brian) Demboski of Iron River, MI; nieces and nephews, Eric Curtis, Jamie Curtis, Kristin Demboski, Kelly (Jesse) Harrand, Kasey Demboski,; many great nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Covenant Church. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Poindexter to officiate.
