Amy L. Marcell

Amy L. Marcell, age 47, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 25, 2022. She was born on November 26, 1974, in Marquette, MI, the daughter of Nancy (Kangas) Ponozzo and the late Arthur Bond. Amy attended the West Iron County Schools, graduating with the class of 1992. She was employed at Aramark in Caspian, MI. Amy was attended the First Lutheran Church in Iron River. She enjoyed reading. Amy is survived by her sons, Colton Marcell of Iron River, MI and Alec Schmelebeck, Seattle, WA; mother, Nancy (Dennis) Ponozzo of Iron River; stepmother, Donna Bond of Gaastra, MI; brothers, Brian Bond of Appleton, WI and Dennis (Kim) Ponozzo Jr. of Madison, WI, Greg (Michelle) Ponozzo, Jr. of Green Bay, WI; special friend, Brian Holmberg of Iron River, MI; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her son, Devon Marcell and her brother, Craig Ponozzo. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
