Andrew Joseph Carlson

Andrew J. Carlson, 27, of Iron River, MI, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at his home. He was born November 29, 1985 in Iron River, MI. He attended the Forest Park Schools, graduating from the Special Education ISD Class. He enjoyed bowling and wrestling, was an avid University of Michigan fan, and loved the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings. He was preceded in death by his papa, Donald Richard Carlson on April 24, 2003 and great grandparents Joel and Elgina Carlson of Felch and Harold and Gretna Menor of Stephenson. He is survived by his parents, Karen and DeWayne Reeves of Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Danielle Reeves of Grand Forks, ND, Alyssa (Kenny) Jones of Hopkinsville, KY, and Taylor Reeves of Grand Forks, ND; grandmothers, Marge Carlson of Iron River, Lila Stebbins of Iron River, Janet (Richard) Morris of Wabeno, WI; great grandmother, Joyce Ehrhardt of Wabeno, WI; uncles, David, (Gail) Carlson of Potterville, MI, and Dennis (Mary) Carlson of Seymour, IN; aunt, Denise (Dean) DeCremer of Vulcan, MI; nephew, Brayden Reeves; nieces, Aydyn Williams and Evelyn Jones; and many special great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:15 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 5:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to officiate. Interment will be in Felch Cemetery, Felch, MI at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2013.
