Angeline Giordana

Angeline Giordana, age 97 of Iron River, MI, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, MI. Born: December 24, 1912, Crystal Falls, MI The daughter of the late August and Josephine (Rossa) Tessaro was a lifelong resident of the area. She attended the Crystal Falls Schools. On September 27, 1930, Angeline married Lawrence Giordana and the couple made their home in Iron River. She was employed at the Riverside Paladium for many years. She was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River and the St. Agnes Altar Society. She is survived by two sons; Edward (Pat) Giordana of Maize, KS Larry (Margaret) Giordana of Monterey Park, CA Three daughters; Florence (Edward) Grzyb of Racine, WI Elizabeth (Paul) Gingrass of Iron Mountain, MI Rosemary (Richard) DeRidder of Norway, MI Two sisters; Emma (Walter) Carlson of Amasa, MI Anne Reitmeyer of Florida 14 Grandchildren 24 Great grandchildren 2 Great, great grandchildren Many nieces, nephews and extended family She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; brothers, Attillio Tessaro, John Buzachero and Marco Buzachero; sisters, Marie Perry and Augusta Giordana; and special niece, Josephine Woodworth. Visitation: Monday, January 11, 2010 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Iron River with Rev. Norman Clisch, pastor, to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
