Ann Martini

Ann Martini, age 102, of Caspian, MI, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Iron River Care Center. She was born February 15, 1915 in Caspian, MI, the daughter of the late Tresillo and Mary Fochesato.   Ann married Arthur Martini in 1937 at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian. The couple celebrated 61 wonderful years together, before Arthur’s passing in December of 1998. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian, and the church choir. She enjoyed reading, cooking and baking. Ann is survived by her son, Mark (Barbara) Martini; three granddaughters, Kim (Doug) Fear of Winnetka, IL, Michelle (Chris) Thomson of Iron River, MI and Erin (Don) Martini-Busakowski of Lake Mills, WI; ten great grandchildren, Marisa, Erich and Evan Fear, Riley, Noah and Nathan Thomson, Courtney (Kevin) Leonoff, Kyla, Aaden and Mason Busakowski; great-great grandson, Kameron Leonoff (born in June 2017); as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ben, “Hap” and Danny Fochesato and her sister, Mary (John) Long.
