Ann K. Mcmahon

Ann K. McMahon, age 84 of Iron River, MI died Saturday November 8, 2008 at the Iron County Community Hospital, Iron River. Born: July 6, 1924 in Iron River The daughter of the late John and Cecelia (Bonavich) Povich was a lifelong resident. She attended the Iron River schools and graduated from Iron River high school. Ann married Thomas McMahon November 17, 1945 in Great Lakes, IL and the couple made their home in Iron River. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Ann was a bookkeeper for many years in the various banks in the area and for Bernie Nowak Lumber in Phelps, WI. She was also preceded in death by brothers; Emil and George and sister Mary Stebbins. Survived by her husband; Thomas Brother; Peter (Jean) Povich, Iron River, MI. Sisters; Frances (Arrigo) Ugolini, Lake Geneva, IL Katherine (John) Sporer, Iron River, MI. Nieces and Nephews Visitation: Tuesday November 11, 2008 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Tuesday November 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home with Deacon Robert Kostka to officiate. Interment: Resthaven Cemetery, Iron River Pallbearers: Arrigo Ugolini, John Sporer, Michael Ugolini, Peter Povich, Donald Gurchinoff and Kevin White.
