Anna G. HalsteadNovember 1, 2010 Anna Gertrude Halstead, age 93 of Iron River, MI, died Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Iron River Care Center.Born: August 15, 1917 in Iron River, MIThe daughter of the late John and Mathilda (Martinson) Olson attended the Benson School in Beechwood and the Iron River Schools. Anna married Robert Halstead on October 4, 1943 in Ypsilanti, MI, where the couple made their home. While she lived in Ypsilanti, she worked at the Willow Run Bomber Plant until they returned to the Iron River area in 1953. She was also employed by F.W. Means, the Amasa Lumber Company and the Coleman Products Plant, retiring in 1983. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on August 3, 1976, sisters, Ingaborg Koch and Bertha Olive Gibbins, and niece, Kathleen Gibbins.She is survived by one son, Roger John Halstead of Crystal Falls, MITwo daughters, Marilyn Marshall of Fridley, MNShirley (James) Sartorelli of Gaastra, MINine grandchildrenNineteen great grandchildrenOne great, great grandchild Nieces, nephews and extended familyMemorial Services: Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River, with Rev.
