Anna E. Hayes

Anna E. Hayes, age 93, of Iron River, Michigan, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016. She was born April 13, 1923 in Gaastra, Michigan, the daughter of the late Thomas John and Anna Christine (Peterson) Lee.         Anna married Walter Johnson in 1939 and he preceded her in death. Anna then married Warren Hayes, in 1966, he preceded her in death also. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Iron River. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Anna is survived by her son, Richard (Carol) Johnson; daughter, Marie Edlund; step daughter, Marilyn Rivard; grandchildren, Jayne (Jeff) Carlson, Ron (Tina) Edlund, Brent (Trisha) Johnson and Scott Johnson; great grandchildren, Dr. Sarah Carlson, Lyn Carlson, Alicya Johnson and many step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Edwin Kenneth, Robert Eldred and Thomas; sisters, Edna Mae, Doris and Lorraine; sons-in-law, Ronald Edlund and Donald Rivard.
