Anna "Dolly" Stafford

Anna “Dolly” Lena Stafford, maiden name, Turturillo, age 95, Iron River, MI, passed away on July 3rd, 2023. Dolly was born on November 28, 1927, in Chicago, IL. She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Carmella (Muppo) Turturillo. She grew up in the Chicago area attending the Chicago Scallan Elementary and St. Willibrord High School. She was self-employed in the food service industry and owner of Dolly’s Pasty’s, for many years. She was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church, Altar Society, Italian Ladies Society serving as past President, and a helper in the C.C.D. Program. She was also an avid bowler and Community Service Home Care and Housekeeper. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, James, Joseph, and Tony Turturillo and sisters, Mary, Louise, and Lucille, and son-in-law, Joe Eichhorn. Survived by two sons, Dan (Marvis) Stafford of Florida and Michael (Bee) Stafford of Iron River, MI; special grandchild, Chad (Samantha) Stafford of Calumet, MI; three daughters, Carmeleen Eichhorn of Arizona, Kathleen Nurby of Rhinelander, WI, and Colleen Reynolds of Florida; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River, MI. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with her son, Mike, to officiate. Interment will be in Bates Cemetery.
