Annamae L. Misoni

AnnaMae Misoni, age 88, of Iron River, MI, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Isabella County Medical Care Facility, Mt. Pleasant, MI. She was born September 19, 1928 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Floyd and Stella (Saxon) VanWagner and was a lifelong resident of Iron County.  She graduated from Iron River High School.  AnnaMae worked as a bank teller for 31 years, retiring in 1991.  AnnaMae married Louis Misoni on February 11, 1950 at the First Lutheran Church of Iron River and the couple were lifelong residents of the Iron River area.  They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in 2001.  Louis preceded her in death on April 16, 2001.  AnnaMae was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Iron River.  She enjoyed reading and spending time with family, friends, and her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Roger) Fultz of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Vicki (David “Rocko”) Medovich of Caspian, MI; brother, Ralph (Rose) Van Wagner of Skanee, MI; grandchildren, Staci (Mark) McDonald, Christopher (Jill) Fultz, Nicole (Don) Beeck, Tara (Nick) Atanasoff and Lauren Misoni; great grandchildren, Dominic, Angelina, Christopher, Jr., Nora, Chase, Carver, Isabelle and Alli; extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Mark on May 10, 2010 and brothers, Marvin VanWagner and Floyd “Bud” VanWagner. Visitation will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Laakko to officiate.
