Anne J. Cascioli

Anne J. Cascioli, age 91, formerly of Iron River, passed away on September 16, 2017 at the East Castle Care Center in Milwaukee, WI. She was born on October 23, 1925 in Iron River, the daughter of the late Timesto and Thresa (Fiorelli) Cascioli. She graduated from Iron River High School, with the Class of 1943.  She went on to attend the McDonaugh Business School in Iron River and received a Business Certificate.  Anne was employed as a “Rosie the Riveter” in California, during World War II. She worked at Angeli’s Food Market, Gambles Department Store and WIKB Radio Station, before moving to Milwaukee in 1963.  She was then employed at Burton & Mayer in Milwaukee, retiring in 1991. After retiring, she volunteered for 16 years at the Gesu Catholic Church and Mt. Siani Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and their wives: Bruno (Theresa), Guido (Laura), Almo (Florence); sisters and their husbands: Lydia (Marvin) Sitkoski and Emma (Leno) Zini; as well as her niece, Marvis Sitkoski and nephew, Darryl (Sara) Zini.  She is survived by nephews, Robert (Jo Ann) Cascioli and Brian Cascioli; niece, Frances (John) Luther; as well as many great and great-great nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Agnes Catholic Church, with Rev.
