Anne L. Rosseau

Anne L. Rosseau, 90, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls, MI.

She was born on January 7, 1935, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Leo and Impi (Alanen) Bunno. She attended and graduated from the Iron River Schools, with the Class of 1953. She then graduated from Providence Hospital Nursing School in Detroit, MI. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Crystal Falls Community Hospital for over 25 years.

Anne married Howard E. Rosseau on November 10, 1956 at the former Assumption Church of Iron River. They were lifelong residents of the area and celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in 2018. Howard preceded her in death on January 11, 2019.

She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River and St. Agnes Altar Society. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, needle point, crafting, reading, watching Lawrence Welk, and old movies, music, traveling, baking, and cooking. She was also a member of the sewing club.

Anne is survived by her sons, David (Ruth) Rosseau of Andover, MN, and Michael (Lisa) Rosseau of Luxemburg, WI; daughter, Sally (Greg) Bilski of Hendersen, NV; five grandchildren, Katie (Frank) Houle, Kyle (Jessica), Nicholas, Derek (Brooke), and Troy Rosseau; step-granddaughter, Kelsey (Brett) Larson; five great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River, with Rev. Daniel Fosu to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
