Anthony G. McGeshick

Anthony G. McGeshick, 61, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026, in Boyne City, MI.

He was born on December 25, 1964, in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late George McGeshick Jr. and Karen (Dent) Ambrose. He attended the West Iron County Schools and graduated.

He was employed as a stock clerk. Anthony was active in AA. He was a social butterfly who enjoyed playing cards and board games and taking rides.

Anthony is survived by his son, Tony Weigand of Iron River; brothers, Edward (Tamie) McGeshick of Vanderbilt, MI and John (Kathy) Ambrose of Ironwood, MI; sisters, Theresa (Bill) Carter of Ishpeming, MI and Eve (Allen) Tappa of Iron River; and many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was also preceded in death by daughters, Patricia and Sarah and infant brother, Adam McGeshick.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jill Albanys to officiate.

Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
