Arlene C. Nannini

Arlene C. Nannini, age 90, of Highwood, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the Iron River Care Center. She was born on November 14, 1931, in Highland Park, IL, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Mordini) Lenzini. Arlene attended the Highland Park Schools and graduated. She then attended St. Luke’s Nursing School in Chicago, IL. She later earned a psychology degree from Lake Forest College. Arlene married Enzo Nannini on November 13, 1954, in Highwood, IL. They celebrated 39 years of marriage before Enzo preceded her in death. She was employed as a registered nurse in public schools. Arlene was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Highwood, IL. She loved nature and being outdoors, especially at her summer house in Eagle River, WI. Arlene also enjoyed helping others. Arlene is survived by her son, Alan (Mary) Nannini of Iron River, MI; grandsons, Richard Nannini and Steven (Katie) Nannini; great granddaughters, Sophia and Gianna; extended family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Richard and Mark Nannini; daughter, Denise Nannini; and grandson, Jason Nannini. Services will be held at a later date.
