Arthur ""Hoggy"" J. Denis, age 51 of Gaastra, MI, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at his home. Born: August 24, 1958 in Stambaugh, MI The son of Ronald and Beatrice (Burnside) Denis attended and graduated from Valders High School in Valders, WI. He then attended technical college and worked as a paralegal. Arthur was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and cooking. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice on September 10, 1992. He is survived by his father, Ronald, sister, Lorna Denis of Sayner, WI and extended family and friends. Visitation: Monday, August 23, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Iron River. Memorial Service: Monday, August 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Iron River, with Rev. Dawn Treado Green, pastor , to officiate.
