Barbara J. Meehean

Barbara J. Meehean, age 72, of Crystal Falls, MI, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Barbara was born on June 10, 1949, in Flint, MI, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Andree) Meehean. She attended the Flint schools, and she moved to the Iron River area from Flint, in 1957. In 1969, Barbara moved to Menasha, WI, where she was employed by a childcare center and later as a cashier at a restaurant. She returned to the Iron River area in 1999, to make her home. Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church of Iron River. She enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by her son, Mark Waalkens of Houston, TX; brother, Wayne (Reda) Meehean of Temperance, MI; sister, Nancy (Jeff) Bonno of Iron River, MI; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
