Beatrice T. Turcotte

Beatrice Thressa Turcotte, age 106, of Manitowoc, WI, formerly of Iron River, MI, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014. She was born December 21, 1907 in Pentoga, MI, the daughter of the late Ray and Sophie (Bruggbacker) Goodhall. She attended the Pentoga and Alpha Schools. On September 23, 1930, she married John Turcotte in Waukeagan, IL. He preceded her in death in 1985. Beatrice was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Iron River and former member of the Lady’s Aid of the church. She was preceded in death by four brothers, William, Max, Carl, and Harold Goodhall; five sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law; her son-in-law, Jim Spackman; her mother and father-in-law, Middie and Inga Turcotte. Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Janet Spackman of Manitowoc, WI; three grandchildren, Barbara ( Ron) Reindl, of Sun Prairie, WI, Sharon (Jim) Deirvan of Beaver Dam, WI, and John (Shari) Spackman of Manitowoc, WI; eight great grandchildren, Christopher (Miriam) Reindl, Ale and Drew Reindl, John Deirvan, Jared Derivan, Jenna Deirvan, Anthony (Amber) Spackman, and Jadyn Spackman; sister-in-law, Eleanor Turcott; niecesand nephews. Vistation will be held Friday, May 30, 2014 from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Dawn Treado Green to officiate.
