Becky K. Gursky

Becky K. Gursky, age 61, of Iron River, MI, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at her home. She was born April 9, 1956 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of William and Virginia (Gordon) Jones. Becky married Steven Gursky and on June 9th the couple would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary. She was self-employed as an affiliate marketer. She attended the Iron River Bible Church, including bible study. She enjoyed paranormal investigation, gourd art, boating, fishing, and was a camp host for two years with the Army Corp of Engineers. Becky is survived by her husband, Steven Gursky of Iron River, MI; children, Heather (Chip) Jones of Brooklyn, IA, Stephanie Gursky of Oskaloosa, IA, Steven W.G. Gursky of MN, and Brenda (Chris Evans) Pettyjohn of Warren, MN; mother, Virginia Matthiesen; brothers, John Jones of Whapton, ND, Scott (Kim) Jones of Holland, MI; 11 grandchildren and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William Jones, step-mother, Elaine Fox Jones, and sister, Kerry Banks. Private family services will be held.
