BERNICE M. BROSLAVICK Age 90 Iron River, MI Passed away on Friday, September 14, in Racine, WI Born: June 6, 1922, Iron River, MI The daughter of the late Anton and Ursula (Grygelko) Cieciorka was a life long resident of the area. She attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School in 1940. She was employed by Cieciorka Grocery until her marriage to Walter Broslavick on June 7, 1947. She then worked for Michigan Bell as an operator and desk clerk until 1961 when she joined the J.C. Penney Company, where she worked until she retired. She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church, St. Agnes Catholic Church, St. Agnes Altar Society, Legion of Mary, Rosary Sodality, St. Agnes Choir and actively involved in ""Polish"" Days at the Iron County Museum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, on January 14, 1948; a brother, John Cieciorka; sisters, Edna Rousseau, Josephine Franzoi, JoAnn Cieciorka, Agnes Eusebio and Cecelia Fregetto. Survived by her daughter, Christine Broslavick, OP, Racine, WI; brother, Stanley Cieciorka, Iron River; sister, Dorothy Delago, Caspian, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services: Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. St. Agnes Catholic Church, Iron River, MI, with the Rev. Michael Ocran to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. The Ladies of the Rosary Sodality will form an Honor Guard at the Funeral Service. Interment: Resthaven Cemetery, Iron River, MI. Funeral arrangements by the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River, MI.
