Bernice A. Waisnen

Bernice A. Waisnen, age 70, of Crystal Falls, MI, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2022, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. She was born on August 31, 1951, in Hayward, WI, the daughter of the late Robert and Lucille (Pine) Olds. Bernice married John Waisnen and he preceded her in death. She was employed in the Home Health field. Bernice was a tribal member of Lac Vieux Desert. She loved playing bingo and going to the casino, rummaging in thrift stores, and especially spending time with her family. Bernice is survived by her son, Terry Lemery; brothers, Robert Olds, Frank Olds, and John Olds, all of Crandon, WI; sisters, Sandra Olds (Jamie Maki) of Iron River, MI, Susan Bass of North Carolina, Cora (Garland McGeshick) Panick of Crandon, WI, Laurie (Steve Tuckwave) Olds of Crandon, WI, Sylvia (Jeff Johnson) Olds of Crandon, WI, and Sarah (Kyle) DeCorah of Crandon, WI; grandchildren, Justice Lemery, Tori McGeshick, Katrina Lemery, Cruz Lemery, Destiny and Dakota Lemery; one great grandson, Jeremiah Solis, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her son, Daniel Lemery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Indian Village Cemetery in Watersmeet, MI.
