Betty J. Clements

Betty J. Clements, age 71, of Stambaugh, MI, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Howard Young medical Center in Woodruff, WI. She was born on April 8, 1952, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Fred and Rose (Yackel) Seymour. She attended the Iron River Schools. Betty married Harry Clements on September 16, 1967, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gaastra, MI. The couple celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in 2005. Harry preceded her in death on November 23, 2005. She had been employed as an inspector on the pipeline. Betty enjoyed arts and crafts, walking, playing cards and camping. Betty is survived by her son, Paul (Jennifer Reini) Clements of Iron River, MI; daughter Cheryl (Dave) Ziebarth, II of Byron Center, MI; sister, Susan (Kenneth) Hookenson of Iron River, MI; grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Adam, and Avery Clements, Chelsea Sinke and Duane Sprague, and Katie Reini; great grandchildren, Ethan, Talon, Markie, Liam, Kingsley, and Caden; many sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; and special friend, James Haydon. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Gilbert, Steven, and Freddie Seymour. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.
