Betty L. Strom

Betty L. Strom, age 88, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 in Iron River. She was born on September 1, 1931 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Edward and Ann (St. Clair) Young.  She attended the Stambaugh Schools and graduated from Stambaugh High School.  Betty married Ray L. Strom on May 20, 1950 in Iron River.  The couple celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in 1998.  Ray preceded her in death on August 8, 1998.  Betty is survived by her son, Donald (Kathy) Strom of Seymour, WI; daughters, Sandra Richards of Iron River, MI and Patricia (Wayne) DeGroot of De Pere, WI; grandchildren, Nick, Lessie, Ericka, Zachary, Benjamin, Karalynn, and Madelynn; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Denecke.  Services will be announced at a later date.
