Betty J. Townsend

Betty J. Townsend, age 69, of Cavour, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI. Betty was born on September 23, 1951 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of Ella (Martin) White and the late Walter White. She attended the Tipler and Florence Schools. She was last employed as a prep cook at the Potawatomi Carter Casino. Betty was a member of the Long Lake Community Bible Church. She loved her family, yard, gardening, tending to her flowers, and all animals. Betty is survived by her son, Jason (Jessica) Townsend of Cavour, WI; daughters, Renee Andersen of Long Lake and Rebecca (Cory) Coogan of Suamico, WI; brothers, Tom White and Kevin White, both of Tipler, WI, and Gary (LeaAnn) White of Long Lake, WI; sisters, Mary Lou Rea of Tipler, WI and Bonnie Fredricks of Crystal Falls, MI; grandchildren, Austin Townsend, Cody Coogan, Evan Townsend, Skyla Coogan, Emmalee Townsend, and her grandpups; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Schmitt and son-in-law Mike Andersen A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 12:00pm at Martin Cemetery in Tipler, WI.
