Betty Znorowski

Betty Jane Znorowski Age 80 Iron River, MI Passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Grand Marais at her daughter's home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born: December 6, 1930 in Stambaugh, MI The daughter of the late Philip and Violet (Cocking) LaRoux was a lifelong resident of the area, attending the Iron River Schools and graduating from the Community Schools in 1971. On October 5, 1950, she married Isadore Znorowski at the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River and the couple made their home in Bates Twp. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 2000. Isadore preceded her in death on March 7, 2003. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Edwin. Betty was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Iron River. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn (John) Venturato, Grand Marais, MI Susan (Dale) Clements, Gaastra, MI One son, John (Meggan) Znorowski, Ormond Beach, FL Two brothers, Clarence (Doris) LaRoux, Iron River Philip (Maxine) LaRoux, Tempe, AZ Two sisters, Marcella Davis, Titusville, FL Pearl Marchinowski, Scottsdale, AZ Four grandchildren; James (Glenna) Brozak and Joe (Gina ) Brozak of Iron River Dale (Erika) Clements Nick (Kelle) Clements Six great grandchildren; Hailey, Katelynn , Wyett and Cassidy Clements Bryton and Wyatt Brozak Private visitation and family services will be held with Pastor Dawn Treado Green to officiate.
