Carol A. Godfrey

Carol A. Godfrey, age 70, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Bayside Village in L’Anse, MI. She was born on July 28, 1950 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothy (Sutherland) Godfrey. She attended the Iron River Schools, graduating with the Class of 1969. Carol was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and a Wykon fan. She also liked watching the Detroit Tiger baseball. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Godfrey Jr. Carol is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 12pm to 1pm at Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Pastor DJ Rasner to officiate. Masks are required upon entry into the funeral home with social distancing required. Only 10 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time. Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery.
