Cheryl M. Rhino

Cheryl Rhino Age 50 Iron River, MI Passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at her home. She was born October 28, 1962 in Stambaugh, MI , the daughter of Roger and Virginia (Curtiss) Carne. She attended the Forest Park Schools, graduating from Forest Park High School with the Class of 1980. Cheryl married Scott Rhino on March 7, 1997 in Iron River. They celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this year. Cheryl owned and operated Country Corners Floral and Gifts for many years. She was known for her creativity and distinctive floral displays. She was a loving person with a huge heart, and was always taking care of everybody around her. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Carne, sister, Terese Carne, grandparents, Cecil and Sophie Curtiss, grandfather, Bill Carne and step-grandmother, Mary (Silk) Carne. She is survived by her husband, Scott Daughter, Katilee Rhino Son, Roger Carne Mother, Virginia Carne Sister, Yvonne (Tim) Bean of Crystal Falls Brother, Daniel (Cathy) Carne of Kingsford Grandmother, Joyce Holmes of Iron River Nieces, nephews and extended family Special friends, Turner Stapleton, Wayne Selden, Beth and Gene Mottes, Bob MacKnight, Mary Shelby, Johnney Anderson and Adelle Ashcraft A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Faith Fellowship Bible Church of Crystal Falls. Services will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Cheryle Spicer to officiate. Funeral arrangements were by the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.
