Christine A. Revord

Christine A. Revord, 76, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026.

She was born on December 21, 1949, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Glenn and Jane (Marquette) Holmes. Christine attended the Stambaugh Schools, graduating with the Class of 1968. She then took a secretary course at Northern Michigan University.

Christine married Alan Revord on April 5, 1969 at the First Presbyterian Church in Iron River. They celebrated their 31 st wedding anniversary in 2000. Alan preceded her in death on November 9, 2000. 

She was employed by Shopko in the accounting department before retiring. Christine was a member of the American Legion Reino Post 21 Auxiliary, where she volunteered with programs and special events. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Sara Revord of Iron River, MI; daughter-in-law, Diane Revord; granddaughters, Maddie Schweitzer and Hanna Revord; great-grandchildren, Violet, Sage, Lilah, and Colton; sisters, Sandy Holmes of Iron River and Jill (John) MacPherson and Jean (Paul) Dedo, both of Weston, WI; sisters-in-law, Debbie Holmes and Nan Holmes; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Greg Revord and brothers, Greg Holmes, Donald Holmes, and Mark Holmes.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring at the American Legion Reino Post 21.
