Christopher C. Barker

Christopher C. Barker, age 26, of Iron River, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016. He was born October 22, 1989, the son of Craig Barker and the late Christine (Ritchie) Barker.            He worked for Connor’s Sports Flooring of Amasa, MI for three years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, shooting and having fun with his friends and family. He also enjoyed doing carpentry work. Christopher is survived by his son, Zane Barker of Neenah, WI; father, Craig Barker (Theresa Verville) of Bellevue, NE; brothers, Joseph (Laura) Barker of Caspian, MI and Devyn Engel of Bellevue, NE; sister, Sarah Barker of Iron River, MI; extended family and friends.    He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine in 2006 and his sister, Kayla in 2011. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. at the Cornerstone Bible Church in Iron River, Michigan. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Rocky Farley to officiate.
