Christopher ""Chris"" P. King, 32, Stratford, WI, died Sunday, March 17, 2013 in North Dakota. He was born October 7, 1980 in Iron River, MI, the son of David King and Jacqie (Luis) Applin Hernandez. He attended the West Iron County and Athens, WI, Schools, graduating from Athens High School with the Class of 1999. He was employed as a surveyor on the pipeline for the last three years, most recently working in North Dakota. An avid outdoorsman, Chris enjoyed fishing, kayaking, golfing, paint ball, and snowboarding. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nicole King and paternal grandfather, Kenton King. He is survived by his mother, Jacquie (Luis) Hernandez of Stratford, WI; father, David (Ancella) King of Caspian, MI; brothers, Stefen (Tiffany) King, of Marshfield, WI, Nicholas King of Wausau, WI, and Kori King of Marshfield, WI; step-sisters, Suzi and Marsella Hernandez of Omaha, NE, and Nikki Thurston of Caspian, MI; maternal grandparents, Dan and Sylvia Applin of Mexico Beach, FL; paternal grandmother, Rosalie King of Caspian, MI; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, with Rev.
