Clarissa A. Clements Age 90 Gaastra, MI Died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Northstar Health System, Iron River. Born December 29, 1920 in Green Island, Iowa The daughter of the late Orville and Lois (Hunter) Hatfield attended the Mountain, WI schools. She married Clifford Clements on November 3, 1938 in Iron River. The couple celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in 1989. Clifford preceded her in death on January 24, 1990. Clarissa was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and enjoyed quilting and knitting. She loved to cook. Clarissa loved children and spending time with all of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers, David, Dale, Duane, Norman, and Orville; one step-brother, Stanley; five sisters, Elenore, Lucille, Arvilla, Mildred and Velma; one step-sister, Nola; and 2 great, great grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Dale (Susan) Clements of Gaastra Daughters; Lois (Joseph) Vargovich of Gaastra Noreen Hansen of Gaastra Denise (David) Roberts of Gaastra 10 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren 16 great, great grandchildren Visitation: Friday, October 7, 2011 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Caspian, with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment: Stambaugh Cemetery, Iron River.
