Clyde D. Haggard

Clyde D. Haggard, age 74, of Iron River, MI, passed away Thursday, July 06, 2017 at the Jacobetti Home in Marquette. He was born October 11, 1942, the son of the late Clyde F. and Hilda (Nordlander) Haggard. He attended the Iron River Schools, graduating with the Class of 1961. Clyde was a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of the union, and employed as a manufacturing technician for Peerless Pump for 30 years. He attended the First Lutheran Church of Iron River and he enjoyed singing, golfing, and bowling. Clyde is survived by his brother, James Haggard; sisters, Sue (Bob) Hooper and Maureen Haggard, all of Iron River; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Resthaven Cemetery in Iron River. The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at that time.
