Corinne A. Stacy-Ross

Corinne A. Stacy-Ross, of Caspian MI, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Aspirus Iron River Hospital. Although she was born on May 23, 1931, she will perpetually be “39” years old. She loved being the 9th of 13 children of the late Edmund and Doris (Cummings) Stacy. She attended the Forest Park Schools. Corinne was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Caspian, made her Cursillo, and was a CCD teacher for a number of years. She enjoyed her work at the Stambaugh and Iron River Senior Centers. Her major enjoyment came from her grandkids and great-grandkids.  She loved feeding the birds and deer. She was willing to help anyone who needed her help. Getting to go bumming, was her special treat - if the car was moving, she was in it. She is survived by her children; Theodore (Patricia) Youngberg, Veronica (Richard) Junak, David (Thea) Ross, and Quinn (Tammy) Youngberg. Grandchildren; Andrea, Eric, Tera, Trish, Cody, Heather, Lisa, Maygen, Michael, Melody, and Misty. Greats; Erica, Dylon, Kyra, Ayden, Elise, Holden, Derek, Travis, Sami, Reagan, Faith, Alayah, Wyatt and Connor. Sisters; Naomi Phillips, Rita Vela, and Bernadette Wolff. Many Nieces and nephews. Corinne was preceded in death by siblings; Vincent, Sister Honora, Jane Grosse, Vincent, Monica, Hubert, Eugene, Catherine, and Timothy.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Crystal Falls.
