Dallas J. Duda

Dallas J. Duda, 79, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the Iron River Care Center.

She was born on May 7, 1946, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, the daughter of the late Leo and Charlotte (Hilgers) Aron. She attended the Wisconsin Rapids Schools and graduated.

Dallas married James “Jim” Duda on August 22, 1970, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in 2018. Jim preceded her in death on November 23, 2018.

Together Dallas and Jim started in the food business as owners of the T&T Supper Club of Iron River in 1972. In 1989 they moved their business down the street and after remodeling they opened Zippidy Duda Restaurant. Dallas was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and a former member of the J.C.’s. She enjoyed bowling and was very strong in her faith.

Dallas is survived by her son, Chad Duda of Iron River, MI; granddaughters, Seantel Duda, Danielle Frymark, and Roselyn Duda; brothers, Gary Aron and Rick (Joan) Aron; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Duda; brothers, Norlan “Butch” Aron and James “Jim” Aron; and sister, Lillian Mackela.

Services will be held at a later date.

Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
