14.00 Daniel J. Gunderman, 80, of Iron River, MI, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette.  Daniel was born October 3, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Nicholas and Katherine (Binder) Gunderman.  He graduated from St. John’s Cathedral High School in 1952 in Milwaukee.  Daniel received a basketball scholarship to Marquette University in Milwaukee. Daniel married the former Lois Hill of Ontonagon, MI on April 28, 1956 in Port Washington, WI.  They celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in 2004.  Lois preceded him in death on March 5, 2005.       After retiring from 33 years as a factory machinist at Continental Can Company in Milwaukee, Daniel worked at the Delta-Do-It Center in Caspian, MI, Kidder’s Fox and Mink Ranch, and was the owner of the former Dan’s Live Bait in Iron River, MI.  Daniel was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and reading.  The most important thing in his life was his family.  He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Gunderman of Salcha, AK; daughters, Janet Rohde of Iron River, Sandra (Ronald) Maki of Iron River, and Mary (Richard) Jones of Elmwood, WI; brother, William Gunderman of Phelps, WI; sisters, Eunice Frohberg of Germantown, WI and Ann Gunderman of Milwaukee, WI; eight grandchildren, Luke Gunderman, Sarah Lambert, Jessica Merritt, Fawn (Andrew) Papatriantafyllou, Erin Maki, Matthew Maki, Jordan Jones, and Seth Jones; four great grandchildren, Hannah Gunderman, Shelby Lambert, Austin Merritt, and Llewellyn Lindberg.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Rev. Richard Gunderman and grandson, Jacob Gunderman.    Visitation will be Monday, December 23, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.  Funeral Service will be held, Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev.
